This is an antique linen work pant purchased at a French flea market.
It's from around the 1940s. The color is a sooty black, darker than the photos suggest. The fabric still has thickness and firmness, and there are no major tears. Considering it's nearly 100 years old, it's in excellent condition.
Black, indigo linen French work pants like these are becoming increasingly rare. The size is also quite wearable, not overly large, and it has the original belt loops, making it easy to use.
