This is a first for me and I'm a little obsessed over it. It looks like a ceramic pouch with a rose on it. The flowers and in side is a majolica barbotine glaze with a seed glaze on the vase base. I'm thinking 1950s based on the color. Barbotine is a French term for the process so perhaps it was made in France, I couldn't say for sure. There is some minor chipping on the underside of the rose petal and on the cord. This is a vintage item being sold as such and as is. Please feel free to make an offer.
